Peter the Great was a reformer in the Russian empire of the 17th and 18th century. His reforms of the government, economy, science, culture and military were transforming this country from an agrarian state into one of the most modern and leading countries of Europe, at that time. With his help Russia obtained great importance.
It is not by accident that the heraldic sign of the Russian empire has been placed at the dial in great size and leaping to the eyes. Finally, the skeletonized and engraved movement and the open dial are creating a magnificent and powerful high-valued piece. Certainly, Peter the Great would much enjoy such watch.
